a few months ago i dropped a track by the mysterious dr. midnight on the blog, providing a sweet few minutes of electronic pop that passed the time of day very pleasantly.

clearly whoever is behind this project is having a lot of fun, as ireallylovemusic has been sent more.

genuinely, i have no idea who is behind this, but once again the email is just full of random psychobabble :

"the giant iguanas have held my people captive and for ransom they want 800 pounds of opium by nightfall–for addicts of such a relaxing drug they are surprisingly vicious and I fear I might not make it in time–this will mean death for all of us.

i may never see my love again, in which case, this ode for her will be my only means of farewell.

godspeed.

"

see what i mean.

absolute tosh, but hugely enjoyable tosh.

thankfully though, the digital soul sonic remorse is rather good.

forget all that alternative pseudos that sleepy jackson is doing to expel his desire to be in psychedelic electro-pop panto, this pharmaceutically enhanced doctor has far more in line with the use of plastic bass lines and polyester sweater loving melodies than you will ever need.

still, the results are very nice in a laid back air vs daft punk kind of groove.
